Your protection and security is paramount to us.That’s why we provide you with two guarantees, proper insurance and a completion certificate.
Fully guaranteed for 12 months by Avalon
We guarantee all our work for 12 months. And we do mean “all our work”. We guarantee the big things, like the structural integrity and the plumbing. We guarantee the tiniest of details, such as the finish of the paintwork and the straightness of the shelves.
At the end of your job, you and the Project Manager will inspect every aspect of the work together.
If you find any defect, we will fix it within two weeks without any charge.
Then you will receive our guarantee form which will cover all the work for 12 months. If you have any problems, just let us know and we will sort them out for you.
If you sell your house within a year of the project, our guarantee will pass to the new owner.
Additional cover from the Consumer Protection Guarantee
You are also protected by the Consumer Protection Guarantee (CPG) scheme rrun by Tradesmen Connect in conjunction with Goldcrest Chartered Surveyors, regulated by RICS.Your money will be held by the CPG administrator during the project. They will only pass your payment to us when you have confirmed that you are satisfied.
Proper insurance for your peace of mind
Your project will be covered by proper insurance.
Avalon holds professional business public and employer’s liability insurances for up to £10,000,000.
If your project is worth more than £250,000, we will take out a separate insurance policy that is tailored to the specific conditions of your job.
Completion certificate for future reference
You will receive a Completion Certificate with all the paperwork and a detailed record of your project when we finish.
Your Certificate will include our guarantee, the manufacturers’ guarantees, a copy of our contract with you & any variations to that contract and the final account.
It will also include a list of all the materials that we used on your job, including appliances, paint, wallpaper etc, plus contact details for the suppliers of those materials.
In a few years’ time, you may want to contact the manufacturer of your dishwasher or buy more paint for your hallway. Our Certificate will make this easy for you.
